YARD is a new independent architecture school in Yerevan that brings together academic research, practical experience, and hands-on learning. Recently granted space within the historic Yerevan Champagne Factory, YARD is creating a home for a new generation of architects and designers.

At the heart of the school is the elegant former tasting room, featuring distinctive Art Deco murals that reflect the character and history of the building. YARD plans to carefully restore and transform this historic space into its primary lecture hall and common room—a flexible gathering place where students, faculty, and the wider architectural community can learn, exchange ideas, and collaborate.

The renovated space will accommodate approximately 70 students and serve as a central hub for:

• Student and faculty presentations

• Collaborative learning and project work

• Community events and gatherings
