Project Background
The FAR Child Protection Center is not only a haven for vulnerable and at-risk children, it’s also a home — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The center primarily safeguards children who have become victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect. It also houses those who face homelessness or extreme poverty.
There is no other center like CPC in Armenia, and for that reason, the government frequently refers children to this special place. Since it opened in 2000, CPC has helped more than 11,000 children and youth.
Many young people call the center home. Children leave during the day for school, but come back to CPC to sleep. Currently, many of the center’s bedrooms are in need of renovation. The windows are drafty in winter and some walls are also in need of repair.
We have faith that with your help this spring, next winter will be cozier for children who desperately need it.
Project Goal
To renovate the bedrooms at FAR’s Child Protection Center to ensure that vulnerable kids have comfortable living conditions.

Ծրագրի նպատակը
Վերանորոգել ՀՕՖ-ի «Երեխաների պաշտպանության կենտրոն»-ի երեխաների ննջասենյակները` դարձնելով դրանք ավելի հարմարավետ եւ անվտանգ։
Ծրագրի նկարագրություն
ՀՕՖ-ի «Երեխաների պաշտպանության կենտրոն»-ը ոչ միայն ապաստարան է խոցելի և ռիսկային խմբում գտնվող երեխաների համար, այլ նաև անվտանգ տուն է շաբաթական 7օր և 24ժ:
Կենտրոնի հիմնական շահառուները բռնության ենթարկված երեխաներ են, ինչպես նաեւ անտուն և ծայրահեղ աղքատության մեջ գտնվող երեխաները։
Հայաստանում բացի ՀՕՖ-ի «Երեխաների պաշտպանության կենտրոն»- ից, նմանատիպ այլ կազմակերպություն եւ հաստատություն չկա, այդ իսկ պատճառով պետական տարբեր կառույցների համար այս կենտրոնը հանդիսանում է ուղղորդման առաջին եւ հիմնական օղակ։ 2000թ.-ից սկսած Կենտրոնը օգնել է ավելի քան 11,000 երեխայի և երիտասարդի։
Շատ երիտասարդներ Կենտրոնը անվանում են տուն։ Երեխաները գնում են դպրոց և վերադառնում են այստեղ քնելու համար։
Ներկայումս կենտրոնի ննջասենյակները վերանորոգման խիստ կարիք ունեն։ Պատուհանները հին են, ինչպի պատճառով ձմռան ամիսներին սենյակների ջեռուցումը շատ բարդ է իրականացվում։
Մենք հավատում ենք, որ եթե բոլորս համախմբվենք, ապա հաջորդ ձմեռը երեխաների համար կլինի ավելի տաք եւ հարմարավետ։
