Project Goal
To furnish the homes of families displaced from Artsakh now resettled in the regions of Syunik and Tavush.
Project Background
After Azerbaijan’s 2023 attack, thousands of Armenian families were forced to flee their homes, livelihoods, and communities in Artsakh. Many sought safety with relatives or in rented housing across Armenia.
While the Armenian government has launched a program to provide permanent housing for displaced families, many of these homes remain unfurnished, leaving families without the basic necessities needed to rebuild their lives with dignity.
In partnership with our FAR offices in Syunik and Tavush, this project will raise funds to fully furnish and equip these homes, prioritizing families with three or more children, families caring for members with disabilities, and families who lost a soldier during the war.
We will purchase the items most urgently needed by families on our list following the completion of the fundraiser.
