Project Goal
To furnish a medical clinic in a border village in Syunik with updated tools and equipment.
Project Background
Many medical clinics in the Syunik region lack updated and functioning medical supplies, severely limiting delivery of healthcare services. FAR is working to support as many clinics as possible through provision of modern equipment and updated furnishings.
Following our intervention, rural residents will be able to receive care locally, avoiding trips to larger communities, which is especially important as harsh weather often makes roads nearly impassable. Improved access to regular care will raise awareness, support early diagnosis and improve chronic illnesses management, and reduce untreated cases and preventable deaths within the community.
